The International Cartoon Center of Iran, in partnership with BrazilCartoon and the Brazil-Iran Friendship Institute, under the responsibility of Marcio Leite and the publisher O Farol, organize:
1- This competition is held in collaboration with Professor John Lent, an outstanding researcher in the world of comics (Comic world), from the United States.
2- The Brazilian artistic executive of this event is Mr. EDRA (Elcio Danilo Russo Amorim) and the Iranian artistic executive of this contest is Mr. Masoud Shojai Tabatabaei.

Pelé: considered one of the greatest football players of all time, having received the title of "Best Player" by FIFA. He was voted athlete of the century in 1980 by the French newspaper L'Equipe and is also considered one of the most successful and popular sports figures of the 20th century.
Vinícius Júnior: is another Brazilian soccer star. Highlight of the Real Madrid team, the young player has been the victim, as a result, of racist insults from the fans, he said: "La Liga belongs to the racists".
Conditions:
- Each participant can send a maximum of 5 works in each category.
- The works sent must not have been awarded in other competitions.
- Cartoon and caricature works must be sent in PNG or JPG format and 300 dpi resolution, with a width or length of 2000 pixels.
- Works in the Posters category must be sent in JPG or PNG format and 300 dpi resolution, with a size of 50x70 centimeters.
- It is mandatory to send the full name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone, photo and resume in a Word file.
- The printed catalog of the works will be presented to the artists whose works reach the end.
-An electronic PDF file of the catalog will be sent to all participants.
- The sending of works is possible only through E-mail.

1- Bu yarışma, Amerika Birleşik Devletleri'nden çizgi roman dünyasında (Çizgi Roman dünyası) seçkin bir araştırmacı olan Profesör John Lent ile işbirliği içinde düzenlenmektedir.
2- Bu etkinliğin Brezilya sanat yöneticisi Bay Edra'dır (Elcio Danilo Russo Amorim) ve bu yarışmanın İran sanat yöneticisi Bay Mesud Shojai Tabatabaei'dir.

Pelé: FIFA tarafından "En iyi Oyuncu" unvanını alarak tüm zamanların en iyi futbolcularından biri olarak kabul edildi. 1980 yılında Fransız L'EQUİPE gazetesi tarafından yüzyılın sporcusu seçildi ve aynı zamanda 20. yüzyılın en başarılı ve popüler spor figürlerinden biri olarak kabul ediliyor.
Vinícius Júnior: bir başka Brezilyalı futbol yıldızıdır. Real Madrid takımının öne çıkan genç oyuncusu, taraftarların ırkçı hakaretlerinin bir sonucu olarak mağdur oldu, "La Liga ırkçılara ait" dedi.
Şartlar:
- Her katılımcı her kategoride en fazla 5 eser gönderebilir.
- Gönderilen eserler başka yarışmalarda ödüllendirilmemiş olmalıdır.
- Çizgi film ve karikatür çalışmaları 2000 piksel genişliğinde veya uzunluğunda PNG veya JPG formatında ve 300 dpi çözünürlükte gönderilmelidir.
- Posterler kategorisindeki eserler JPG veya PNG formatında ve 300 dpi çözünürlükte, 50x70 santimetre boyutunda gönderilmelidir.
- Tam ad, posta adresi, e-posta adresi, telefon, fotoğraf ve özgeçmişin bir Word dosyasına gönderilmesi zorunludur.
- Eserlerin basılı kataloğu, eserleri sona eren sanatçılara sunulacaktır.
-Kataloğun elektronik PDF dosyası tüm katılımcılara gönderilecektir.
- Eserlerin gönderilmesi ancak şu yollarla mümkündür

İYİ NİYETLİ ADIM İSTENMEYEN SONUÇ!
Brüksel’de Türklerin yoğun olarak oturduğu Schaerbeek belediyesi eşekleriyle meşhur. Türk varlığına bir selam ve saygı anlamında Nasrettin Hoca ve eşeğinin heykelinin dikilmesi fikri iyi bir fikirdi. Halis Kokten
önerdi ve o zamanki Türk kökenli belediye başkan yardımcısı Sait Kose fikri hayata geçirdi. Teşekkür etmek lazım.
Ancak balık baştan koktu. Aceleyle Belçika iklim koşullarına uymayan malzemeden dev bir heykel dikildi ve sonuç hüsran oldu. Halbuki bir evrensel heykel yarışması açılsa Belçikalı ve diğer ülkelerden heykeltıraşlar önerilerini verselerdi Hoca’nın evrensel ruhuna daha uygun ve daha sanatsal bir heykel çıkardı ortaya. Üstelik dayanıklı maddeden yapılırdı.
KISACA İŞİN ASLI…
Nasrettin Hoca’nın 2006 yılında Brüksel’de çevre koşullarına ve yağışa uygun olmayan bir heykeli dikildi. Önce eşeğinin kuyruğu sonra sağ kolu koptu. 2010 yılında imza kampanyası, 1 Nisan 2015’te de etkinlik yaparak konuya dikkat çektim. Hocanın heykelinin yenisiyle değiştirilmesini istedik. (Eskisi tamir edilemiyordu)
2018 yılında çok küçük bir heykel geçici olarak Türk esnafın yoğun olduğu caddeye dikildi. Ama cadde ve özellikle de hoca heykeli çöpten seçilemez oldu. Yani Nasrettin Hoca’yı Brüksel’in Çöp Bekçisi yaptılar. Hoca buradan kaldırılmalı ve daha uygun bir yere dikilmeli. Ya şimdiki yerinin biraz ötesindeki Place De La Reine meydanına ya Schaerbeek Belediye Binası önüne ya da Türkler arasında “Eşekli Park” olarak bilinen Josaphat Parkı’na kaldırılmasını öneriyoruz. 6 Ekim Dünya Gülümseme Günü’nde karikatürlü şenlikli bir etkinlik yapıp “Nasrettin Hoca Yalnız Değildir” diyeceğiz.

Dear authors, colleagues, and friends,
We are pleased to inform you that we are opening a call for cartoons on the 3rd Zegeboom!
After the themes EARTHQUAKE (2021) and CROWD (2022), this year's theme is IDEAL CITY. All over the planet, people are increasingly clustering in cities where they find their happiness or unhappiness. By setting up this topic, we want to see what kind of ideal city authors from all over the world imagine (or live in). Accordingly, Trešnjevka Cultural Centre has decided to search for the ideal city and is announcing an international competition for a cartoon exhibition!
Applications for the competition are open from 1st October until 5th November 2023, and EVERYONE can apply - regardless of experience, age, gender, religion, nationality or any other (more or less important) characteristic of the author.
Authors can submit 1-3 "silent" cartoons (without words!), following the proposals of the competition and responding in their own unique and creative way to the given topic: IDEAL CITY.
Submissions must be done via the official application form you can find here.
Upon completion of the call, the expert jury will select the best among the submitted works and will publish a catalog of the selected works. The best three cartoons will additionally deserve valuable prizes!
Regardless of the voting results, all participants will receive a certificate of participation, and their selected cartoons will be published in the 3rd ZeGeBOOM! cartoons catalog.
Same as every year, we will allow the public to choose one work they like the most! Online voting will be available worldwide and open from November 15th to November 30th, 2023, and the entry that wins first place according to audience votes will also be awarded!
The best cartoons will be exhibited from December 4th until December 31, 2023 in the Small Gallery of the Trešnjevka Culture Centre, and all other submitted works will be available online - because we always aim to enable EVERYONE to enjoy the Art of Cartoons.

Görüşmenin tamamlanmasıyla, uzman jüri, gönderilen eserler arasından en iyisini seçecek ve seçilen eserlerin kataloğunu yayınlayacak. En iyi üç çizgi film ayrıca değerli ödülleri hak edecek!

"Retrospektif" sergisi izleyiciyi sanatçı Sergei Sychenko'nun 35 yıllık bir yaratıcılık dönemi boyunca yarattığı resimlerle tanıştırıyor.
Yazarın çeşitli yaratıcı dönemlerine ait eserlerinde tematik, kompozisyon ve renk değişimlerini gözlemlemek ve aynı zamanda pek çok ortak noktayı görmek ilginçtir: hafif ironi, karikatür, paradoksal renk ve kompozisyon çözümleri.

Güney Asya'nın birçok ülkesinde, kız çocukları ve kadınlar özerkliklerini ve esenliklerini kısıtlayan karmaşık zorluklarla karşı karşıyadır ve en çok benzeri görülmemiş gıda ve beslenme krizlerinden, yaygın yoksulluktan ve çatışmanın kalıcı etkilerinden etkilenmektedir. Bir annenin çocuğu için yapacağı fedakarlıkların sınırı yoktur. Buradaki birçok anne, çocuklarının yiyecek bir şeyler bulmasını sağlamak için tüm gün hatta günlerce aç kalıyor. Afganistan'da yaşananlar tüm Güney Asya için geçerli. Koşullar değişebilir, ancak acı gerçekler ve üzücü sınavlar gerçekliğini koruyor. Son araştırmalar, annelerin yetersiz beslenmesinin en yüksek olduğu bölgelerin aynı zamanda en yüksek sayıda çocuk yetersiz beslenme vakalarını da içerdiğini göstermektedir. Aralarındaki bağlantılar açıktır ve ergenlik çağındaki kız çocuklarında, hamile ve emziren annelerde yetersiz beslenme ile birlikte çocuklarda yetersiz beslenmenin ele alınmasına yönelik stratejik ihtiyacın göstergesidir. Dünya ergen kızları ve kadınları yeterince beslemekte başarısız oluyor. Her kız çocuğuna ve her kadına, yalnızca hamile olduklarında değil, her gün sağlıklı ve besleyici gıda hakkı sağlanmalıdır. Yetersiz beslenmenin sonuçları ömür boyu sürebilir, kızların ve kadınların enfeksiyonlara, akıl sağlığı sorunlarına ve diyete bağlı kronik hastalıklara karşı hassasiyetini artırır ve gelir elde etme ve onurlu bir hayat yaşama yeteneklerini azaltır. Bu, ergenlik çağındaki kızların ve kadınların yoksulluktan kurtulmasını ve daha iyi bir gelecek inşa etmesini zorlaştırarak toplumsal cinsiyet eşitsizliklerini pekiştiriyor.
Birlikte üç eylemi sağlamalıyız-
1. Ergen kızlar ve kadınlar için besleyici gıdaların mevcudiyetini ve hamilelik öncesi, hamilelik sırasında ve emzirme döneminde temel beslenme ve doğum yardımı hizmetlerine ücretsiz erişimi sağlayın.
2. Ergenlik çağındaki kızları ve kadınları besin değeri düşük, aşırı işlenmiş gıdalardan koruyun.
3. Son olarak, kadınların ve kızların en son ve en az yemek yemelerini baltalayan ayrımcı toplumsal cinsiyet ve sosyal normları ortadan kaldırın ve onları toplumda daha düşük bir statüye, daha düşük eğitime ve çok erken, çok fazla ve çok erken gebeliklere yol açan bir duruma getirin.
Bu yarışmanın Güney Asya'nın her yerinde, özellikle de artan insani krizler, çatışmalar ve acil durumlar nedeniyle yoksul, marjinalize edilmiş ve güçsüz bırakılmış olanlar olmak üzere, kız çocuklarını ve kadınları beslemek için dikkatlerin yeniden canlanmasına ve acil eyleme geçilmesine yardımcı olacağını umuyoruz. Bölgedeki zorluğun ölçeği çok büyük. Sorunu anlıyoruz ve neyin işe yaradığını biliyoruz.

• Eserler özgün ve Güney Asya bölgesindeki sekiz ülkeden herhangi birine ait olmalıdır. AI tabanlı grafik tekniklerine izin verilmez. Gönderilen eser(ler) daha önce yayınlanmamış veya başka bir amaçla kullanılmamış olmalıdır.
• Çalışmalar siyah beyaz veya renkli olabilir.
• Her giriş, karikatürcünün tam adını, ülkesini, Posta adresini, İletişim numarasını içeren bir ön yazı içermelidir. ve E-Posta Kimliği.
• Dijital eserler JPEG formatında en az 300 dpi (2480 x 3543 piksel) çözünürlükte gönderilmelidir. Dijital karikatürler için png ve .tiff dosyaları da kabul edilebilir (çizgi film başına maksimum 3 MB).
• Karikatürler A4 formatında çizilecektir.
• Gönderimler, Flash veya başka bir animasyon içermeyen statik resimler olmalıdır.
• Yarışmacı başına giriş sayısı: en fazla üç karikatür.
• Varsa metin veya başlıklar İngilizce olmalıdır.
• Her esere kısa bir açıklama (en az 30 kelime, en fazla 100 kelime) eşlik etmelidir.
• Tüm başvurular (dosyalar), dosyada katılımcının adını ve ülkesini içermelidir.

are organizing cartoon contest on theme "ANIMALS".
A. Participation:The contest is open to all cartoonists all over the world, over the age of 18, regardless of nationality, religion, gender and education.
B. Cartoon theme: ANIMALS
C. Artworks - Send by e-mail on address: info@animalcartoon.net .
Only the original artworks (up to 5) in digital form send by e-mail will be accepted.
Digital works (A4, up to 300 dpi, JPEG or TIFF, the maximum length per one artworks 3 MB - Biggest artworks than 3 MB will not be opened niether accepted) with personal information - name, address, e-mail, cartoonist photo and brief CV (.doc format, NOT PDF) should be sent by e-mail.
Condensed file zip, rar, etc... WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
The cartoons must not be previously awarded.
Arrived submissions that passed the pre-selection will be immediately published on the portal Animalcartoon.
D. Deadline:
Entry deadline is Septeber 01, 2023.
E. Prizes and awards:First prize 300 € - neto, Second prize 200 € - neto, Third prize 150 € - neto
It will be also awarded 10 diplomas.
F. Exhibition:The exhibition will be staged in Zoological Garden Belgrade (BEO ZOO VRT) from
October 1, 2023 to October 1, 2024.
The exhibition will be shown in other towns in Serbia and abroad.
G. Catalogue:All participants of the competition will be able to download the catalog in PDF format from our portal.
H. Other conditions:The organizers reserve the right to use them for various purposes without any obligation to compensate for it. The works will be included in the permanent exhibition and archive portal Animal Cartoon.
By submitting works is considered that the authors accept these rules.

Contest“Color is the wonder of light” 31 August 2023

In 2021, we organized an international cartoon contest to celebrate the 100th anniversary of our socio-cultural association. And with great success!
The many entries, the enthusiastic reactions and the unique traveling cartoon expo motivated us to organize a biennial event. One year the focus is on the cartoon contest, the next year on the traveling cartoon expo.
From May 1st 2023 to August 31st 2023 cartoonists from all over the world can participate in our cartoon contest and this time with the theme: “Color is the wonder of light”. We were inspired by the quote by the Flemish poet Marc Van Halsendaele.
Cartoons can be submitted via www.cultuursmakers-cartoons.be with a maximum of 5 cartoons per participant.
The award ceremony will take place on Friday February 9th 2024 in Sint-Truiden, after which the 30 best cartoons will travel around for a year in an expo through Flanders and Brussels.
Cultuursmakers is a socio-cultural association in Flanders (northern state of Belgium) and Brussels. The association consists of groups of volunteers who organize high-quality and varied cultural activities. Our mission: to bring people and culture closer together. With us you can discover, experience and enjoy culture together with others. In this way, real contact and connection between people grows. At Cultuursmakers we look at the world from a broad perspective, with respect and openness towards everyone. In this way we contribute to a warm society.

Definition of a cartoon:A cartoon is a humorous drawing without explanatory text. This can be a parody of a current situation or simply an image of a comic situation. This cartoon can consist of a single image or take the form of a short comic with a maximum of 3 drawings. Moving images are not allowed.
Theme:The theme of this contest is “Color is the wonder of light”.
Submissions:Each entrant may submit a maximum of 5 entries (color or black and white) in A4 format.
All drawings must be submitted digitally in sufficiently high quality: A4 600 dpi with a maximum size of 8 MB. Accepted file formats are jpg, png, psd, eps and pdf.
The drawings must be original, i.e. not previously awarded, published or exhibited. They may not be provided with text, nor may the name 'Cultuursmakers' and the logo of the association be used.

The participant agrees that the personal information (name, e-mail, address) will be used to inform her/him about the competition.
Originality of the works:The participant is responsible for the originality of his works. Disputes and possible claims with regard to all forms of plagiarism, etc. are the responsibility of the participant.
By participating, the participants agree to the terms and conditions of the cartoon contest and entitle the organizing association the right to publish the submitted works in the cartoon brochure and to use them for the promotion of the cartoon expo. For any other use of the cartoons, the cartoonist will be asked for permission in advance.
Jury:A professional jury makes a selection for the cartoon expo from the entries received and appoints the prize winners. Determination of plagiarism will result in exclusion from the entry. If, after the announcement of the prizes, plagiarism appears to have been committed, the jury may withdraw the prize after deliberation.
The laureates will be announced during the opening of the first cartoon expo. There will be no communication whatsoever about the contest. However, the organizing association will inform all participants whether they are among the winners or whether their work has been selected for the traveling cartoon expo.
Award ceremony and cartoon expo:The winning cartoons, supplemented with an exquisite selection of the submitted cartoons, will travel through Flanders and Brussels with traveling cartoon expos from February 2024 till the end of December 2024. Each cartoon is accompanied by the name of the cartoonist and the country. The award ceremony will take place during the opening of the first cartoon expo on Friday February 9th 2024 at 8 pm in Sint-Truiden.
The participant lends his works to the organizing association for the purpose of organizing the traveling cartoon expo up to and including December 2024. The awarded works remain the property of the organizing association.
Cartoon brochure:
A digital and paper cartoon brochure will be published. Selected participants will receive a digital version and are entitled to one paper copy that they can obtain free of charge upon simple request. However, they are responsible for the postage themselves or collect the brochure themselves from the organizing association.

The competition celebrates in its first edition, an artist who, through his long career with the art of caricature, possessed an exceptional ability to capture ideas from our daily lives, his deep lines and drawings, touched human concerns and pain, in addition, the simplicity of his idea and the depth of its meanings which made the Syrian cartoonist "Abdulhadi Shammah" able to attract the audience to his drawings, he achieved a remarkable presence in the world of caricature and created his own mark on it.

This evil is embedded in all levels and spaces where human values are deteriorated or do not exist, conditioning our growth
in every way. There is an antidote for this type of pollution of the spirit that can be enormously effective if it is applied and cultivated since childhood. We refer to ETHICS
That is why the objective of this competition is to add particular and group efforts, private or state, to achieve and/or enhance
individual and collective development, with integrity and freedom.
CARTA DE TINTA, the INTERNATIONAL IDEA INSTITUTE, and the ALIANZA FRANCESA AREQUIPA on their 70th anniversary, invite you to participate in this event with the warm welcome of all the people of Arequipa and all Peruvians
RULES: 1. All illustrator and cartoonists who live in any part of our Mother Earth, amateur or professionals from 18 to 120 years old regardless civil status, religion or sex can participate. Members of the Contest Organizing Committee can not participate.
2. The theme on which the works should be inspired is ETHICS, another weapon against corruption
3. Each participant may submit a maximum of 3 illustrations without dialogues, speech or text balloons. The works may or may not have achieved any mention or award in other similar events, but they should be original and belong to the author who send them, it means,
copies and/or plagiarism identified by the jury will be disqualified immediately.
4. The technique is totally free, in color or in black and white, and the delivery will be digital, in 21cm x 30cm, in JPG (horizontal or vertical), in RGB colors and in high definition (300dpi). The name of each file can be in Spanish or English, and will be composed of
the name of the author, country of origin, and title of the work. Example: Pepe Sanmartin_Peru_ethics for all.
5. Attach to each work a Word document in which the title of the work, the name of the author, email, a telephone number, address and country of origin will be indicated, as well as a brief curriculum (no more than 15 lines), a personal photo and a thumbnail of the work.

had been awarded.
10. The most important works will be part of the traveling exposition which will be in different showrooms in Cusco and Peru. A major selection of participant illustrations will be part of the virtual catalogue.

Upon the occasion of the International Festival for Satirical Graphics and Humorous Literature „Umor la … Gura Humorului”, the 33st edition, the Town Hall of Gura Humorului organizes a special satirical graphics contest.
Contest rules:
·Subject: „Smiling City”
·The participants must submit 1 (one) satirical graphic work
·The cartoon must be created after the 1st of January 2023, and it must be unpublished and unrewarded within other contests.
·Special Prize: 150 euros.

DETAILS OF THE CONTEST
Rules:
1. THEME: RESCUE
2. MAXIMUM NUMBER OF ENTRIES:
One (Any technique: Black & white; Colour; Digital)
3. ABOUT THE CARTOON:
A) Only one unpublished Cartoon is to be sent as e-mail attachment. (Don't send previously awarded cartoon)
B) The e-mail most contain Full Name and Complete Postal Address of the participant in CAPITAL LETTERS along with a statement that the work is original and unpublished.
C) Size: 21 x 30 cm (A-4)
D) Cartoon should be in JPG format (strictly 100dpi) (Maximum 600KB).

6. THE PRIZES: There will be 07 prizes (First, Second, Third, Special mention-2 and Honourable mention-2). All the prize winners will be awarded with a Diploma Certificate (Electronic/Physical) and a CD/Pdf album of selected cartoons as per convenience of the organizers.
7. RESULT AND EXHIBITION:
A) Result of the contest is likely to be declared by 2nd week of July 2023 and selected cartoons will be exhibited on the website: www.aswiniabani.com .
B) The Diploma certificates and CD albums for all the winners will be sent Electronically by mail/ Physically by Post (as per convenience) after the declaration of result in due course.
C) The exhibitions will be organized from July onwards in various places.
8. RIGHTS OF THE ORGANISERS:
A) Once sent, the work belongs to the Organisers. It can be published, distributed or used for promotional purpose in future.
B) Cartoons should be downloadable and clear. Organisers would not be responsible in situations like connectivity-failure, undownloadable cartoon etc.
It is therefore advised to keep the file small.
C) Plagiarism, if detected, the entry will be summarily rejected; the diploma would be withdrawn, if awarded.
D) In case of a dispute, decision of the Organisers would be final. The Organisers reserve all the rights to cancel or modify any of the rules/conditions.
Participants are considered to have accepted all the conditions and their submissions may be reprinted and used without future monetary compensation.

SİNOPLU DİYOJEN 2. ULUSLARARASI KARİKATÜR YARIŞMASI” 15 Haziran 2023

1- Yarışma amatör ve profesyonel bütün dünya sanatçılarına açıktır.
2- Yarışmanın konusu; “Amazonlar” olarak belirlenmiştir.
Amazonlar… Antik zamanın kadın savaşçıları. Binlerce yıl insanların ilgisini çekmiş, sempatisini toplamış özgür kadınlar. Herodot gibi tarihçiler Amazonların vatanını Kuzey Anadolu olarak anlatmışlardır. Ancak, Baltık ülkelerinden Kuzey Afrika’ya kadar herkesin bir ucundan sahiplenmeye çalıştığı mittir Amazonlar…
Adını Amazon Kraliçesi Sinope’den alan Sinop şehrinde düzenlenen bir karikatür yarışması için “Amazonlar” konusu olmazsa olmazdı. Sinop kadınları Anadolu’da Amazonların ruhunu en iyi yansıtan özgür, baskın karakterler olarak örnek olmayı hala sürdürmektedirler…
Yarışmacılardan beklentimiz; Çocuk evliliklerine, taciz ve tecavüzlere, kadına şiddete, kadın cinayetlerine, kadının sömürülmesine, köleleştirilmesine, erkek egemenliğine karşı Amazonların savaşçı ruhunu eserlerinde yansıtmalarıdır…
3- Yarışmaya katılacak eserlerde teknik serbesttir. Eserler daha önce hiçbir yarışmada ödül almamış olmalıdır.
4- Katılan tüm sanatçılara dijital sertifika gönderilecektir.
5- Katılımcılar istedikleri sayıda eser gönderebilirler. Ancak bir çizere birden fazla ödül verilmez.
6- Gönderilecek karikatürler en fazla A3 (29,7 cm x 42 cm) boyutunda, 300 dpi çözünürlüğünde ve jpg formatında olmalıdır.
7- Yarışmaya katılacak eserler 15 Haziran 2023 tarihine kadar e-posta yoluyla; “sinopludiyojencartoons@gmail.com” adresine gönderilmelidir.
8- Eserlerle birlikte bütün sanatçılar adını, posta adresini, telefonunu, e-mail adresini, kısa özgeçmişini ve bir adet fotoğrafını da göndermelidirler.
9- Yarışmanın sergisi ve ödül töreni daha sonra açıklanacak bir tarihte Sinop-Ayancık’ta gerçekleştirilecektir. Törene katılanların yol masrafları kendilerine ait olacak, konaklamaları karşılanacaktır. Törene katılamayanların ödülleri adreslerine gönderilecektir.

PARTICIPATION:The contest is opened to italian and international artists from the age of 16. Each artist can send maximum three artworks, not awarded or selected in other contests.

The period the festival will take place is between July, 7 to July, 9, 2023 and the theme of this edition is THREE COLOURS. The deadline for sending the cartoons for the satirical graphics section is
June 21, 2023.

The 33nd edition of Umor la ... Gura Humorului, the International Festival of Cartoon
and Humorous Literature will be held between July, 07 – July, 9, 2023.
THE CONTEST REGULATIONS CARTOONS
1. The Edition theme: THREE COLOURS
2. Original works are accepted, in digital format, created after January, 1st, 2023, which were not
published and submitted or awarded prizes to other competitions.
3. Each participant will submit two ( 2 ) cartoons to be analysed by the jury.
4. The works will be submitted by JUNE 21, 2023 (posting date) on the following addresses:

Bucovina, str. Sfântul Gavril, nr 14, 725300 - Gura Humorului, judeţul Suceava, România.
5. Technical requirements:
- Papers sent by e-mail: minimum1600 x 1200 pixels, JPG format
- Papers sent by regular postal mail: format A 3
- The technique used for the works will be at the free choice of the artist
6. The works are not to be returned. They will be added to the patrimony of the Umor la ... Gura
Humorului Festival and the organizers are entitled to use them later as edited materials with the
name of their author on them.
7. The participants are required the following documents enclosed with their works: the
completed entry form attached, a brief CV and a personal photography/cartoon self portrait of
minum 6x9cm ( on paper) or 710x1065pix. (digital format).
8. The winners will be announced online until the July 1, 2023 to be present for the Awards
Festivity held on Sunday, July, 09th, 2023, if they will not be able to participat, the diplomas
will be sent by mail and the cash prizes by bank transfer.
10. Transport expenses, accomodation and meals are the responsibility of the participant or the
organization/ institution he/she is part of. The organizers will be notified in due time to make the
necessary reservations
11. The prizes to be awarded for adult participants:
1st Prize : EUR 500
2nd Prize : EUR 300
3rd Prize EUR 200
The "George Gavrilean" Prize for the debutantes in Bucovina - EUR 200
12. The prizes to be awarded for participants under the age of 18:
1st Prize : EUR 100
2nd Prize : EUR 50
3rd Prize EUR 25
13. The jury are the ones who decide upon awarding or not awarding or re-allocating the prizes.
In addition, the jury will decide upon the works or the authors to be rewarded by sponsors,
associations, mass-media, institutions, commercial societies or private persons, with their
consent.
13. There will be no participation fees.

7. Uluslararası Yeşilay Karikatür Yarışması Sonuçlandı
|
|
Evrensel bir sorun olan bağımlılıklara karşı farkındalığın artırılması ve kamuoyunun, özellikle de gençlerin bağımlılıklara karşı bilinçlendirilmesi amacıyla Yeşilay tarafından düzenlenen 7. Uluslararası Yeşilay Karikatür Yarışması sonuçlandı.
Yarışmaya 68 ülkeden, 1130 katılımcının, 1901 karikatür başvurusu oldu.
Yarışmanın birincilik ödülünü Mohammadali Khalaji (İran), ikincilik ödülünü Emil Idzikowski (Polonya), üçüncülük ödülünü Silvano Mello (Brezilya) kazandı.
Yarışmada başarı ödülüne layık görülen kişiler; Izabela Kowalska-Wieczorek (Polonya), Musa Keklik (Türkiye) ve Sunnerberg Constantin (Belçika) oldu.
Mazhar Osman Özel Ödülü’nü ise Ömer Çam (Türkiye) almaya hak kazandı.
Yarışmada üç kişiye eş değer olarak dağıtılan 16 Yaş Altı Kategorisi’nde ödüle layık görülen kişiler; Melek Demirel (Türkiye), Çağlar Yılmaz (Türkiye) ve Zilan Tanış (Türkiye) oldu.
7. Uluslararası Yeşilay Karikatür Yarışmamıza katılan tüm isimlere teşekkür eder, ödüle layık görülen tüm isimleri tebrik ederiz.

XXX International Exhibition of Arts of Humor 2023
The Quevedo Institute of Arts of Humor through The General Foundation of the
University of Alcalá announces the XXX International Exhibition of Arts of Humor
around the subject «PURPLE HIGHLIGHTS: Woman, life, freedom». There will be
more information about the subject in the website iqh.es.
1. Participation is open to all the persons older than 18.
2. In order to participate in the Exhibition, every artist must send a piece on the
theme «PURPLE HIGHLIGHTS: Woman, life, freedom». It can be a vignette, a comic
strip or a caricature. The organization reserves the right to invite those authors that
the organization members agree to consider important for the exhibition.
3. The works must be original and must be signed. They can be made with any
technique and in any format, with maximum dimensions of A3 (297x420 mm), and
preferably in portrait format for printing in the catalogue.
4. All art pieces will be sent before June 5th 2023. Together with the piece, the
authors must send the filled formulary attached to these requirements.
Those made using traditional techniques will be sent to the following address:

For digital works, they must be made in formats JPG or TIFF with a
minimum resolution of 300 dpi, and they must be sent to miah@iqh.es.
It is essential to comply with the noted date for the adequate planning of the
catalogue and design of the exhibition.
5. Entries sent by post must be suitably packaged. It is recommended to protect
them with flat cardboard. The organization won't take responsibility on any
possible damage occurred during transportation. Mailing costs will be the
responsibility of the participants in this call, and the organisation will not assume
any costs (e.g. customs charges) or any liability in the event of damage or loss of
the work.
6. A Selection Comission will carry out a selection of the pieces submitted, that will
be exhibited in the XXX Internacional Exhibition of the Arts of Humor in septembernovember.
7. All pieces submitted will be kept at the Graphic Humour Archives of the General
Foundation of the University of Alcalá, except specific indication to the contrary, for
which the artist must write on the reverse of the piece “Devolución/Return”.
8. The submission of the piece means that the author authorizes the General
Foundation of the University of Alcalá to reproduce it and exhibit it, as long as the
name of the artist is displayed and the objective is the media coverage of the
Exhibition and the rest of activities of the General Foundation of the University of
Alcalá within the field of Graphic Humour and/or of this call (edition of catalogues,
posters, leaflets, media coverage, web page, etc.), and in any case it generates any
type of obligation on the author's part.
9. The organization will communicate through the Exhibition web page the list of
participants with submitted piece and the list of selected pieces.
10. At the end of the exhibition in Alcalá, those people with selected pieces will
receive a copy of the catalogue, which will be edited to mark the celebration of the
Exhibition.
11. The organization reserves the right to not exhibit those pieces considered to
infringe individual or collective rights.
12. The participants will be responsible before any claim on the authorship of the
works. The organization will not be responsible before any claim made by a third
party upon the violation of intellectual rights or property of the works.
