14º SALÃO DE HUMOR HUMANA SAÚDE 2022 |

1 – REGISTRATION: NOVEMBER 01, 2022, TO NOVEMBER 30, 2022
The 14th Salão de Humor Humana Saúde is open to all graphic artists who wish to submit their own work. Each entrant may submit a maximum of 5 (five) works total, using whichever technique, and the entry format must be 30x40cm (or height: 2,900px with proportional width and a minimum 250 dpi resolution). Categories are Cartoon, Caricature, and Comic Strip/Comic book (the comic book must be a single-page story, and the comic strip may contain a maximum of 5 strips on a single page). Registration is free and online at salaodehumor.com. The artist will fill out the form in “registration” to submit the entries (through the registration page at https://salaodehumor.com/en/register/), with a maximum of 3MB file size. The website is the only registration channel for artists to submit their works. Salão de Humor will open on December 14th, when we will announce the contest winners.
2 – THEME: The 14th Salão de Humor Humana Saúde theme will be TIME.
3 – JUDGING AND WINNERS SELECTION: From Dec 1st to Dec 3rd, 2022.
4 – PRIZES:
- Winner – Cartoon (theme: TIME): R$5,000.00 (five thousand reais).
- Runner-up – Cartoon (theme: TIME): R$3,000.00 (three thousand reais).
- Humana Saúde Caricature Prize (open theme): Winner R$ 2,000.00 (two thousand reais).
- Humana Saúde Comics Prize (open theme): Winner R$ 2,000.00 (two thousand reais).
- Internet Prize Winner: R$2,000.00 (two thousand reais). Public online voting will decide the winner. Voting goes from Dec 05 to 08, at salaodehumor.com
5 – TRAVELING EXHIBITION
Selected artworks may join our 14th Salão de Humor Humana Saúde traveling exhibition. Selected artists (copyright holders) automatically grant the 14th Salão de Humor Humana Saúde unlimited non-exclusive use of the selected artwork copyrights for activities in all media, without any remuneration being due, for promotional activities for and under the auspices of the 14th Salão de Humor Humana Saúde.
6 – DISQUALIFICATION
6.1 – Your artwork must be your own original artwork and not a copy of anyone else’s copyrighted material (If your image infringes upon another’s copyright it will be disqualified).
6.2 – Your submitted artwork mustn’t have won other contest awards or any other prize until the last date of registration for the 14th Salão de Humor Humana Saúde.
6.3 – Professionals and amateurs can enter works of authorship, which mustn’t have been awarded in other events until the last date of registration. The Internet Award follows the same rule as in the main clause.
6.4 – In case of disqualification, the ulterior artist in the rankings will go up one position and be awarded as the winner or runner-up, if that is the case. Example: In case the runner-up is disqualified, the third place will become the runner-up. In case the winner is disqualified, the runner-up becomes the winner, and the third place becomes the runner-up.
6.5 – All works must be signed by the author.
6.6 – The following people are not allowed to participate in this contest: All Humana Saúde workforce; and their relatives, no matter the degree in which they are related; and also any member of the organization of this event (directly or indirectly involved).
6.7 – Plagiarism, infringement of the rights of others, or other violations of the Contest rules will result in disqualification, even if the artwork has already been awarded (in which case the jury will cancel the prize).
6.8 – When submitting the artwork, the artist must also submit the registration form, and it must be legible and signed. We also request for your curriculum and photograph to catalog in Saude Humana’s research and database. You should make sure your own work is original, and we suggest all contestants should double-check on specialized websites if there is no coincidence of image, text, and /or status between your work and another one already published in newspapers, magazines, or websites. If plagiarism is confirmed, the work will be automatically disqualified.
6.9 – By registering you automatically agree to all terms and rules. For more information: +55 (86) 99975 2514.
§ 1º – Selected artists will automatically grant unlimited non-exclusive use of the selected artwork for activities in all media, platforms, and vehicles, for all promotional activities for and under the auspices of the 14th Salão de Humor Humana Saúde, without any remuneration being due.
6.10 – The results may be contested four days after the event opening, with proof of any irregularities perpetrated by any contestant.
6.11 – In case of a non-virtual registration, Humana Saúde is not responsible for any damage caused to the works during shipment.

12. International Eskişehir Cartoon Festival “MIGRATION” Eskişehir, Turkey

Dear Cartoonist Friend, Eskişehir International Cartoon Festival is a cultural activity held every two years by Aktiffelsefe Cultural Association. This year, we are organizing the of the festival, which started in Istanbul and has been 12 th continued in Eskişehir. In previous years; Karma (1997), East West (2000), Water and Life (2003), Global Warming (2005), Intercultural Tolerance (2007), Energy (2009), Philosophy (2012), Volunteering (2014), World Heritage (2016), Black and White 'Reconciliation' (2018) issues were held. The theme of the 11 th Dissmilarity festival was and Uniformity. 324 cartoonists participated in the festival with 1152 cartoons from 61 different countries. The festival was held online due to the pandemic.
The theme of the International Eskişehir Cartoon Festival, which we are organizing for the 12th time this year, was determined as "Migration". Within the voluntary work in many fields that has been carried out, Aktffelsefe offers a holistic path of development to the individual and the society itself. Throughout this path, it intends to provide some solutions to the problems of today’s world. In this direction, the concept of 'Migration', which is simply defined as "moving from one place to another" but leaves a deep impact on both the individual and the society, constitutes the subject of the 12th International Eskişehir Cartoon Festival. Throughout history, the individual and the community have had to leave their country for many geographical, economic, social, political and religious reasons. This separation, which is defined as migration, has brought many effects on both people and places. Migration, which can be considered as an equation with many unknowns, is one of the most current problems of our world. Today, people do not migrate for reasons that can be considered more innocent such as climate changes or famine, as in ancient times. This issue has reached a point that invites all citizens of the world to think. This issue has reached a point that invites all citizens of the world to think in a realistic way. Contrary to popular belief, the concept of migration is not a one-sided concept. On the one hand, those who had to leave their regular lives for whatever reason, and on the other hand, the inclusion of people with different socio-cultural habits into the settled life style... Of course, countries have immigration policies and there are many legal regulations regarding immigrant rights. However, besides all of these, there is a great need to feel and understand deeply once again that we, as humanity, are beings living in the bosom of nature. Two big questions about humanity; ‘where did we come from and where are we going? From a philosophical point of view, we can talk about a migration experience for each individual. We were all born and came from somewhere. We die and we go somewhere. Are we aware that we are guests in any location on the planet only for a temporary period? This planet is a home for all of us and we must remember once again the law that makes it vital in every sense: "Balance". Let’s remember that an event that takes place in one place concerns the whole. No matter what happens, the world always tries to return to the equilibrium point. Searching marginal solutions and imagining fantastic dreams while escaping the traps such as fanaticism and discrimination brought about by imm igration will be a new, mental and conformist trap for us. Instead, we must bring to light a healthy balance first within ourselves as individuals and then among people all over the world as a large family. We can say that the fruits of all kinds of endeav or that will be given in this direction will create a better life opportunity for everyone. Let's repeat the idea of "A better person and a better world", which we, as Aktiffelsefe, have been trying to build for 33 years, for our 12th International Cart oon Festival by examining the concept of "Migration" this year. The works to be exhibited at this festival will be presented in offices of Aktiffelsefe in different cities of Turkey such as Antalya, Bursa, Eskişehir, Istanbu l, Izmir, Izmit, Mersin later. different branch Adana, Ankara, Also, they will be exhibited through other organizations in abroad with which Aktiffelsefe Cultural Association cooperates for the artlovers.
ACTIVITIES DURING THE FESTIVAL :
1) 2) EXHIBITIONS : There will be an exhibition of ‘Migrition’ on December 2022. PANEL: the cartoons with the theme There will be a panel with the theme ‘Migrition’ with the participation of invited guests from art, science and philosophy branches.
3) ACTIVITIES: There will be different activities in the ex hibition area.
TERMS OF PARTICIPATION : Theme: The theme of the exhibiton is “Our Differences and Similarities”. Cartoons with different subjects can not participate in the festival nor the exhibition. Organizing Committee has all the rights. The Committee works under the leadership of the cartoonist Tan Oral. Technique:
1. Technique is free. It can be black white or coloured.
2. Size is A4 or A3. Cartoons with sizes other than these will be evaluated but not be exhibited.
3. One or more than one cartoon can be sent.
SENDING TERMS (POSSIBLE IN TWO WAYS) 1. Via E-mail: contact@cartoonfest.org The works that will be sent via e-mail should be scanned with 300 dpi resolution and uploaded as JPEG format. (2 MB max.) Names of the works should be as follows: name and surname of the artist_country_work no.jpeg (alikorkmaz_turkiye_1)
2. Via postal office: The works that will be sent via post should not be framed or paspartu. The participation form attached should be filled and resent. RESENDING OF THE WORKS
1. The works will be archived in Aktiffelsefe International Cartoon Festival archives and will not be resent. (If resending is required, it should be declared.)
USING RIGHTS OF THE WORKS • All the rights belong to Aktiffelsefe Cultural Association with the exception of being used with commercial purposes. Aktiffelsefe Cultural Associaiton can publish the works domestic and abroad, can exhibit them, can use them in the published media such as books, catalogs, magazines etc., can send to another association abroad for publishing or exhibiting without commercial purposes. The cartoonist has all the publishing and commercial rights. The cartoons exhibited will be collected in a festival catalog and the news in the press with this catalog will be announced on the website of Aktiffelsefe Cultural Association (www.aktiffelsefe.org) and on the website of the cartoon festival (www.cartoonfest.org). Aktiffelsefe Cultural Association is responsible for its own sharings.
DEADLINE 1. The deadline for the cartoons to arrive to the Organizing Committee of the Cartoon Festival is November 26, 2020. WHAT IS AKTIFFELSEFE CULTURAL ASSOCIATION? Aktiffelsefe Cultural Association is a philosophical-cultural movement which was founded in 1989. It has no commercial, political and religious purposes and it is formed by volunteers. ZeGeBOOM! is an international cartoon exhibition dedicated to current topics that mark the lives of people around the world.
This year's topic is CROWD
OUR DAILY CROWD
Crowding is not only caused by people in narrow streets, in elevators, buses and trams.
The crowd is made by cars for a reason and for no apparent reason.
It's crowded on the terraces, in the bars, especially when it gets cold outside.
Dogs (and cats) stir up the crowd with their bigoted behavior.
There is a crowd in the head when obligations exceed all measures.
There is a crowd in front of the goal (and the basket) but also in front of the garbage containers that arenot emptied
on time.
There is a crowd in front of the counters and cash registers when saving on staff or when staff enjoycreating crowds.
Crowds are an opportunity to meet and make friends with like-minded people, but also a scenario for afight.
There are hundreds of reasons to crowd. They are part of everyday life, as an existential tendency toescape from
danger.
Crowds are also the fruit of greed.
Crowding is also among the objects in the careless accumulation of products and garbage.
There is a crowd in the media space and on social networks.
The only solution to the crowd is desolation and solitude.

11th GIN-UAH Graphic Humour Competition |

The GIN Foundation, the Quevedo Institute of the Arts of Humour (IQH) and the Vice-Rectorate for Research and Transfer of the University of Alcalá announce the 11th GIN-UAH Graphic Humour Contest, with the following rules:
PARTICIPATION:
The competition is open to anyone wishing to participate, either individually or jointly as writer and illustrator, in any of the following three categories:
Professional: They must include a short biography and a link to prove that they publish or have published in a permanent medium.
Amateurs.
UAH-FGUA staff and students.
SUBJECT:
The entries must be humorous in intention. The subject is
Caring for both physical and mental health*
*Avoid COVID-19 subject
FORMAT and LENGTH:
Submissions must be in paper or in digital format. The work must be publishable on paper: cartoon, strip, page of comic…and must be signed.
Maximum size: A3. Digital entries must be sent in JPG at 300dpi..
LANGUAGE:
Works in any of the official languages of Spain are accepted. Those coming from outside Spain and containing text must be labelled in Spanish.
Nº OF WORKS AND ORIGINALITY:
Each participant may submit up to four entries. All entries must be unpublished work.
SUBMISSION:
The deadline for submission of entries is November 27, 2022. Originals, reproductions and digital works are accepted. Works that are not returned will be added to the FGUA’s Graphic Humour Documentation Centre of the Quevedo Institute of the Arts of Humour. In the case of originals, the author may request a certificate of donation.

The GIN Graphic Humour Competition awards two prizes in each category worth the following amounts (gross):
Professional:
1st prize: 2000 euros.
2nd prize: 1000 euros
Amateurs:
1st prize: 500 euros.
2nd prize: 250 euros
UAH:
1st prize: 500 euros.
2nd prize: 250 euros
The prize-winning works, as well as a selection of other entries, will be published on the iqh.es and humoristan.org websites.
JURY:
The jury of the GIN-UAH Graphic Humour Competition will be composed of members of the Quevedo Institute of the Arts of Humour of the FGUA, the Vice-Rectorate for Research and Transfer of the UAH and the GIN Foundation.
The jury reserves the right to declare any of the prizes void or to propose a reallocation of the prizes available.
The jury’s decision will be made within 3 months after the deadline for entries. The decision will be communicated to the winners and published on the iqh.es and humoristan.org websites.
Participation in this competition entails acceptance of these rules, as well as the author’s express permission to the organization to use her/his work, provided that his or her name appears and the aim is to disseminate activities in the field of humour and scientific dissemination, without generating any obligation whatsoever with regard to the author. The organization reserves the right, if necessary, to introduce those modifications it deems necessary for the smooth running of the competition. The organization is not liable for the works submitted to the competition.
The best works will be part of an exhibition to be held throughout 2023, organized by the Vice-Rectorate for Research and Transfer of the UAH, the Quevedo Institute of the Arts of Humour of the FGUA and the GIN Foundation.

KATILIM KOŞULLARI:
Yarışmanın konusu serbesttir.
Yarışmaya gönderilecek karikatürler 2022 yılında çizilmiş olmalıdır.
Yarışma bütün dünya karikatürcülerine açıktır.
Daha önce başka bir yarışmada ödül almamış olmalıdır.
Yarışmaya üç karikatür ile katılabilinir.
Gönderilecek karikatürlerin boyutları A4 veya A3 boyutunda olmalıdır.
Katılanlar eserlerinin arkasına adını, soyadını, adresini, telefon numarasını, ülkesini yazmalıdır. Sanatçılar kısa özgeçmişlerini karikatürlerine eklemelidir.
Karikatürler posta veya elektronik posta yolu ile gönderilebilir. E-posta ile gönderilecek eserler karikaturculerdernegi34@gmail.com adresine A4 boyutlarında, 300 dpi, JPEG veya TIFF formatta, her eser en fazla 3 MB ve kişisel bilgilerini (ad, soyad, posta adresi, e-mail adresi, kısa biyografi, foto) bir .doc format dosyası halinde eklenmiş olarak göndermeleri rica olunur.
Karikatürler en geç 5 Kasım 2022 tarihine kadar verilen adrese ulaşmış olmalıdır.
Sonuçlar 9 Kasım 2022 günü açıklanacaktır.
Yarışmaya katılan tüm karikatürler Karikatürcüler Derneği tarafından İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi Karikatür ve Mizah Merkezi’nde saklanacaktır.
Yarışma karikatürleri bir albümde toplanacak, albüme girecek eserler ve sergilenmeye değer görülenler jüri tarafından seçilecektir.
Eserleri sergilenenlere ve albümde yayınlananlara yarışma albümü gönderilecektir. Yarışmaya katılanlar bütün koşulları kabul etmiş sayılırlar.
Yarışmaya katılan kişi gönderdiği her bir eserin fikri haklarını Karikatürcüler Derneği’ne devretmiş sayılacağını kabul eder. Buna göre Karikatürcüler Derneği sayılanlar dahil fakat bunlarla sınırlı olmamak üzere çoğaltma, yayma ve işleme hakları dahil tüm fikri haklara sahip olacaktır. Bu hakları üçüncü kişiler aracılığı ile de kullanabilir.

THE CONDITIONS:
The subject of the Competition is free.
The cartoons to be sent to the contest must be drawn in 2022.
The Competition is open to caricaturists from all ower the world.
The caricatures must not be awarded by another Competition.
The caricaturists can participate at the Competition maximum with three caricatures.
The dimensions of caricatures shall be in A4 or A3 size.
The caricaturists have to write in their names and surnames, address, telephone number and their countries on the back of their works of art. And their CV’s (curriculum vitae) have to be added to their caricatures.
We kindly request that those who will participate in our contest digitally send their cartoons to karikaturculerdernegi34@gmail.com attached as a .doc in A4 size, 300 dpi, JPEG or TIFF format, a maximum 3 MB per cartoon, and including their personal information (name, surname, mailing address, e-mail address, short biography, photo) until October 31, 2022.
The caricatures shall be delivered to the given address at the latest November 5, 2022.
The results shall be announced on November 9, 2022.
All caricatures send to the Contest shall be kept the Cartoonists Association in the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Cartoon and Humor Center.
The jury will choose the caricatures which will be included in the Album and the caricatures which will be exhibited. Then the Album of the Competition will be published.
The Album of the Competition will be send to the caricaturists of whom works of art exhibited and included in the Album. The caricaturists participated at the Competition shall be regarded as accepted all the conditions of the Competition.
The person participating in the competition accepts that they will be transferring the intellectual rights of each work they sent to the Cartoonists Association. Accordingly, Cartoonist Association will have the rights, includes but not limited to, the rights to reproduce, disseminate and process the cartoons participating in the competition. Cartoonist Association can also use these rights through third parties.

THE 6TH GOLD PANDA INTERNATIONAL CARTOON AND ILLUSTRATION COMPETITION
1. Participation: The competition is open to all artists (Picture book artist,Illustrator, Cartoonist, Comic artist, Caricaturist, Animator, sculptor, installation artist, designer,Printmaker and Painter) regardless of nationality, age, sex, etc.
2. Theme
A) RABBIT (Chinese zodiac)
B) BOOK
C) Panda / Free theme
You can choose any theme.
3. Entries
1) The works whether they have been awarded in other contests previously will be accepted.
2) Produced using any technique, including computer graphics.
3) The maximum 12 entries should be submitted for each category.Work is only allowed in Chinese or English. Words can't appear in works. If you need to writing, must be in English(or Chinese), writing the other a piece of paper .English(or Chinese) words according to the serial number order of works to write clearly.
4) The works should be accompanied by the author's resume and photo (or caricature).
5) First name, Last name, Address, Email, Telephone number should be written on the Entry form. Please specify in Email: “6TH Gold Panda”
6) Technique and medium of works are unlimited. Any painting, Print making, Traditional Chinese Painting, Oil painting, Watercolor, Animation,Video,Crafts art or sculpture will be accepted.
7) Size of work : A3 （297mm X 420mm）.
4. Entry Form: The self made entry form is accepted.Each author must enclose the entry form, filled in every part and duly signed.

1. Katılım: Yarışma milliyet, yaş, cinsiyet vb. fark etmeksizin tüm sanatçılara (Resimli kitap sanatçısı, İllüstratör, Karikatürist, Çizgi Roman sanatçısı, Karikatürist, Animatör, heykeltıraş, enstalasyon sanatçısı, tasarımcı, Baskıcı ve Ressam) açıktır.

1) Daha önce başka yarışmalarda ödül almış eserler kabul edilecektir.
2) Bilgisayar grafikleri dahil herhangi bir teknik kullanılarak üretilmiştir.
3) Her kategori için en fazla 12 giriş yapılmalıdır. Çalışmalara yalnızca Çince veya İngilizce olarak izin verilir. Eserlerde kelimeler görünemez. "SHADOW"
XXX INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF SATIRE AND HUMOR “CITY OF TRENTO“
On 15th July 2022 at 9:30am took place a video-conference held by Studio d’Arte Andromeda
(via Malpaga 17, Trento, Italy) to start the work of the jury for the above-mentioned contest.
This year’s theme was:SHADOW
JURY MEMBERS: Marilena Nardi-cartoonist,Luigi F. Bona, historian of visual communication, Fabio Magnsciutti - cartoonist, Assunta Toti Buratti art director of Studio d’Arte Andromeda, Umberto Rigotti - illustrator and cartoonist Assunta Toti Buratti, representing Studio d’Arte Andromeda, opens the jury work for XXX International Festival of Humor and Satire “City of Trento” proposing the nomination of a jury’s
president and a jury’ s secretary.
Online at the video conference are present: Marilena Nardi, Luigi F. Bona, Fabio Magnasciutti,Assunta Toti Buratti and Umberto Rigotti.
Fabio Magnasciutti is voted as President of the jury and Luigi F. Bona as Secretary, unanimously.
The jury takes in consideration the big participation of the authors: this year we received artworks from 446 authors, for a total of 1028 artworks coming from 66 countries. We feel like the level and quality of each work was very high. This year’s theme, ambiguous and interpretable in different ways, has maybe helped everybody’s creativity and has allowed the creation of
powerful works both on graphic level and originality. In many of the works authors reached a poetic level of expression through graphic and pictorial media.
The jury proceeds with the analysis of the field comics and then to the field satire and humor. Each artwork is discussed by every member of the jury.
The selection work takes place through the morning and the first part of the afternoon, without interruptions or problems.
The analysis of the artworks received for comics category takes the jury to the selection of the 16 artworks that will join the exhibition; between them, the jury selected the first prize and 3
special mentions.
The jury then proceeds with the satire and humor category and selects 130 artworks that will join the exhibition, 3 prizes and 8 special mentions.
The prize assignment, approved unanimously after discussion, is the following:
* SATIRE AND HUMOR:
FIRST PRIZE:Constantin Sunnerberg (Belgium) For being able to go beyond realism with rare simplicity and emotional efficacy, in an evocative balance between the elegant depiction of a sweltering and imminent future and the image of a
fresh and light oasis, using colors in an efficient and wise way.
SECOND PRIZE:Leonard Grabowski (Poland) For putting together, in the ephemeral meaning of a shadow, both the report of the tragedy of each wound inflicted to nature and animals and the discouragement of the absences that leave,
in our memory, an intense trace of nostalgia for an erased Eden.
THIRD PRIZE:Mehdi Azizi (Iran)vFor having showcased, with the lightness of the humoristic line and irreality’s smile, the suffered situation of refugees beyond boundaries traced by men, where an apparent nothingness and an aware sacrifice can become a different life’s perspective.
SPECIAL MENTIONS:Amir Aqajany (Turkey),Bilig Ba (China),Ghost Harsanta (Indonesia),Hossein Naghib (Iran),Ignat Mihai (Romania),Jugoslav Vlahovic (Serbia),Konstantin Kazanchev (Ukraine),Pol Leurs (Luxembourg)
* COMICS:
FIRST PRIZE: Heibat Ahmadi (Iran)
For being able to condense, in just one silent, theatrical sequence, with admirable graphic ability,a realistic representation filled with literary and artistic reminescences and a symbolic vision of
the contrast between shadow and light, in a way that raises questions and alternative, existen-
tial theories.
