Santo António dos Olivais Bölge Konseyi (JFSAO), sanat ve yaratıcılık yoluyla Portekiz'in Koruyucu Azizini kutluyor. Coimbra'daki Aziz Anthony ile ilgili Mizahi İllüstrasyon Yarışması, her yaştan herkesi (sanatçılar ve sanatçı olmayanlar) Coimbra'da eğitim almış olan Aziz Anthony figürüne çizim yoluyla hayat vermeye davet ediyor.
En iyi mizahi çizimler tanınacak ve sergilenecek, kültürümüzün, kimliğimizin ve Portekiz azizinin Coimbra şehri tarafından oluşumunun hatırasının takdir edilmesine katkıda bulunacaktır. Bu sanatsal kutlama için bize katılın ve yeteneğinizi gösterin!

Aziz Anthony'nin 1191 ve 1195 yılları arasında (kesin bir tarih yok) Lizbon'da doğduğu bilinmektedir. Çok az kişinin bildiği şey, azizin Coimbra'da okuduğudur. Yükseköğretim öğrencilerinin akademik dönem sonunda karikatürlerini yapma kültürüne de sahip bir şehir. Akademik uygulama Coimbra Üniversitesi'nde başladı.
Şimdi JFSAO, Portekiz'in Koruyucu Azizi'nin ve Santo António dos Olivais Cemaati'nin koruyucu azizi olan güzel anısının kutlanmasına karikatür yoluyla Coimbra'nın akademik kültürüne katılmaya karar verdi.
«Saint Anthony in Coimbra» Karikatür Yarışması'nın bu eylemi, yarışmadaki eserlerin sunumu ile aynı gün yapılacak olan Saint Anthony Kolokyumu ile de ilişkilidir.
AZIZ ANTHONY KIMDIR? ;Çok kısaltılmış bir şekilde: Aziz Anthony, Fernando Martins de Bulhões adıyla vaftiz edildi. Çok genç yaşta Coimbra'ya gitti ve orada, Santa Cruz Manastırı'ndaki St. Augustine Kuralı'nı takiben, kutsal bilimlerde en üst seviyeye mezun oldu.
Daha sonra Fransisken tarikatının Santo Antão Manastırı'na gitti. Bu daha sonra Santo António dos Olivais Cemaati'nin adını doğurdu.
Zaten bir Fransisken olarak, Coimbra'da aynı destinasyonda tanıştığı ve aynı şehirden tekrar inancın şehitleri olarak geçen beş Fransisken gibi, İncil'i ilan etme arzusuyla Afrika'ya gitti.

KURALLAR:
1. Bu yarışma, profesyonel ve amatör, her yaştan tüm sanatçılara açıktır.
2. İllüstrasyonlarınızın son teslim tarihi: 30 Ekim 2025. Eserler, yarışma sayfasına dijital formatta, 300 dpi (maksimum 4 megabayt) olarak yüklenmeli ve ilgili form eksiksiz doldurulmalıdır.
3. Her sanatçı en fazla beş (5) eser gönderebilir ve eser Aziz Antoni olmak koşuluyla tüm teknikler kabul edilir. Ancak tüm eserler dijital ortama aktarılmalı ve yarışma web sitesi üzerinden gönderilmelidir.
4. Sergide ve katalogda yer alacak eserlerin seçiminden yarışma düzenleyicileri sorumludur.
5. Ödüller ve mansiyonlar yedi kişilik bir jüri tarafından verilecektir. Kararlar oy çokluğu ile alınacak ve geri alınamaz. Yetişkinler ve gençler olmak üzere iki kategoriye ayrılan altı ödül ve yedi mansiyon verilecektir.

Diploma ile birlikte verilen 7 Mansiyon
7. Kuruluş, seçilen ve ödül alan tüm sanatçıları bilgilendirecektir. Jüri, tüm ödülleri vermemeye karar verebilir;
8. Bir eserin gönderilmesi, ticari olmayan amaçlar için ilgili çoğaltma haklarının otomatik olarak devredilmesi anlamına gelir. Kazanan eserler, kuruluşun mülkiyetine geçer ve bu da tüm telif haklarının otomatik olarak devredilmesi anlamına gelir;
9. Seçilen tüm yazarlara sergi kataloğu ve katılım sertifikası verilecektir;
10. Yarışma ödül töreni 28 Kasım'da gerçekleşecektir;
11. Yarışmaya katılan eserlerin yer aldığı bir sergi de açılacaktır.

"Saint Anthony in Coimbra" Cartoon Competition October 30, 2025

The Regional Council of Santo António dos Olivais (JFSAO) is celebrating Portugal's Patron Saint through art and creativity. The Humorous Illustration Competition about St. Anthony in Coimbra invites everyone of all ages (artists and non-artists) to bring to life the figure of St. Anthony, who studied in Coimbra, through drawing.
The best humorous drawings will be recognized and exhibited, contributing to the appreciation of our culture, identity, and the memory of the Portuguese saint's formation by the city of Coimbra. Join us for this artistic celebration and showcase your talent!

It is known that St. Anthony was born in Lisbon between 1191 and 1195 (no exact date). What few people know is that the saint studied in Coimbra. It is also a city with a culture of creating caricatures of higher education students at the end of academic semesters. This academic practice began at the University of Coimbra.
Now, the JFSAO has decided to participate in Coimbra's academic culture through caricatures, in celebration of the beautiful memory of the Patron Saint of Portugal and the patron saint of the Santo António dos Olivais Parish.
This action of the "Saint Anthony in Coimbra" Cartoon Competition is also linked to the Saint Anthony Colloquium, which will be held on the same day as the presentation of the works in the competition.
WHO IS SAINT ANTHONY? In very short form: Saint Anthony was baptized with the name Fernando Martins de Bulhões. He went to Coimbra at a very young age, where, following the Rule of St. Augustine at the Santa Cruz Monastery, he graduated with the highest degree in sacred sciences.
He later went to the Santo Antão Monastery of the Franciscan Order. This later gave rise to the name of the Santo António dos Olivais Parish.
Already a Franciscan, he went to Africa with the desire to proclaim the Gospel, like the five Franciscans he met in the same destination in Coimbra, who passed again from the same city as martyrs of the faith.

RULES:
1. This contest is open to all artists of all ages, both professional and amateur;
2. The deadline for submitting your illustration is: October 30, 2025. The works must be uploaded to the contest page in digital format, 300 dpi (maximum 4 megabytes), and the corresponding form must be duly completed;
3. Each artist may submit up to five (5) works, and all techniques are accepted, provided that the work is a Saint Anthony, but all works must be digitized and submitted through the contest website;
4. The contest organizers are responsible for selecting the works that will be included in the exhibition and the catalog.
5. Prizes and honorable mentions will be awarded by a seven-member jury. Decisions will be made by majority vote and are irrevocable. Six prizes and seven honorable mentions will be awarded, divided into two categories: adults and youth;

7. The organization will inform all selected and awarded artists. The jury may
decide not to award all the prizes;
8. Submitting a work automatically implies the assignment of the respective reproduction rights for non-commercial purposes. The winning works
become the property of the organization, implying the automatic assignment of all copyrights;
9. All selected authors will receive the exhibition catalog and a
certificate of participation;
10. The competition awards ceremony will take place on November 28th;
11. An exhibition of the competing works will also be inaugurated.
