The Surgut Fine Arts Museum invites all artists irrespective of age and nationality
to take part in the International Forum of Visual humor KARIKATURUM – 5.

The Surgut Fine Arts Museum invites all artists irrespective of age and nationality to take part in the International Forum of Visual Humour KARIKATURUM – 5. 
Topic: PASSION… passion as fascination, craze, dependence, hobby, love, pleasure, fear. It is in everything, that we love and do.
Nominations:
Caricature, sculpture (small the plastic arts).
Primary prizes:
The “Golden Ushanka” Prize – 2000 euro
The “Silver Ushanka” Prize – 1000 euro
The “Bronze Ushanka” Prize – 500 euro
According to legislation of Russian Federation prize money are taxable.
Time constraints:
The deadline for entry is the 1st of June 2009.
Action period of the Jury is 9-12 of June 2009.
Opening of the Exhibition and the Rewarding Ceremony will be on the 12th of June 2010. 
The Jury:
Vladimir Stepanov (Russia), Stefan Despodov (Bolgary), Varchenko Igor (Kipr), Minsalim Timergazeev (Russia), Svetlana Kruglova (Russia).
Entries:
Only original works either new or having partaken in other competitions participate in the competition. The jury will not reward the cartoons which have won prizes in other competitions and Festivals. Creations sent by e-mail will not be accepted. 
Any style and technique is available.
Size: from A4 (210х297) to A2 (420x590). Size of sculpture (small the plastic arts) at discretion of author. On a competition it is possible to present the unlimited amount of works.
The works must be carefully packed up. All postal costs are borne by the participants. The Forum has no responsibility for any eventual damage during the sending of the works. 
The Form of the participant must be filled in with block letters. The works without the filled Form of the participant will not be accepted to the competition. On the back of each work the following information must appear: name of the author, address, telephone/fax number, e-mail, technique and materials used.
Submitted cartoons will not be returned and will stay in the collection of the Surgut Fine Arts Museum. The works can be exhibited in the halls of the Surgut Fine Arts Museum, other galleries to discretion of the Museum. The works may be displayed at the Museum website.
On results 4-kh of the International competitions in the Surgut artistic museum there was unique collection of ironical art (caricature, picture, sculpture), which is claimed not only in Surgut and Russia, but also abroad.
The organizers keep the right to publish and replicate the cartoons in the promotional pack of the Forum for promotional purposes of the Forum without feeing. The organizers promise to name the author and the county in all publications. 
All works are copyright. Each author is responsible of his own creation, the copyright of the eventual texts, titles and images belong to the creators.
By submitting the works, the author accepts the rules and regulations of the Contest.
Special conditions:
The organizes of the Forum provide the Primary prize-winners for trip to Surgut for the Rewarding Ceremony and back, and accommodation in Surgut.
All participants are invited to the Opening of the Exhibition (trip and accommodation are at the expense of the participants).
A catalogue will be issued as a result of the Forum. All the cartoonists whose works will be selected for the catalogue will receive a catalogue.
The organizes and the sponsors of the Forum can institute some more special prizes after having received all the works.

Карикатура, скульптура (малая пластика).

Основные призы в каждой номинации

Денежные премии согласно закону РФ подлежат налогообложению.

Сроки

1.       Последний срок подачи работ на конкурс – 1 июня 2009 года.

2.       Сроки работы жюри – 9-12 июня 2009 года.

3.       Открытие выставки и Церемония награждения победителей – 12 июня 2010 года.

Условия конкурса

1. На конкурс принимаются только оригинальные работы. Не рассматриваются произведения, присланные по электронной почте, а также ксерокопии и распечатки на принтере.

2. Техника исполнения в обеих номинациях - любая.

3. Формат графических работ - от А4 (210х297) до А2 (420х590).

              Размер скульптуры (малой пластики) –  на усмотрение автора.

       На конкурс можно представить неограниченное количество работ.

4. Анкета участника должна быть заполнена печатными буквами. Работы без анкеты участника на конкурс не допускаются. На обратной стороне работы должны быть указаны имя, фамилия, адрес автора, телефон, факс, e-mail, материал и техника исполнения.

5. Работы должны быть тщательно упакованы. Почтовые расходы за пересылку работ оплачивают участники конкурса. Фестиваль не несет ответственности за любое повреждение во время транспортировки.

6. При участии в номинации «Скульптура (малая пластика)» автор должен вложить в посылку  фотографию работы для определения ее сохранности при пересылке. 

7.  Присланные на Форум работы не возвращаются и остаются в собрании Сургутского художественного музея. Могут экспонироваться в выставочных залах Сургутского художественного музея, в других галереях на усмотрение музея. А также могут быть размещены на сайте музея.

                                                               По итогам 4-х Международных конкурсов в Сургутском художественном музее сложилась уникальнейшая коллекция иронического искусства (карикатура, шарж, фотография, скульптура), которая востребована не только в Сургуте и России, но и за рубежом.

8.  Организаторы оставляют за собой право публикации работ в СМИ и тиражирования их изображений в издательском пакете Форума в целях рекламы Форума без оплаты гонорара художнику. Организаторы обязуются указывать имя, фамилию, страну автора во всех публикациях.

9. Авторские права на все изображения, названия и тексты принадлежат художнику, автор несет ответственность за свои произведения.

10. Факт участия в Форуме означает, что участники принимают условия конкурса.

Особые условия

1.       Обладателям Основных призов Форума организаторы оплачивают проживание в гостинице г. Сургута, проезд на Церемонию награждения победителей любым видом транспорта из любого города России в  г. Сургут и обратно.

2.       Все участники приглашаются на открытие выставки и Церемонию награждения победителей (затраты на проезд и проживание несут сами участники).

3.       По итогам конкурса будет издан каталог. Все авторы, чьи работы войдут в каталог по решению жюри, получат бесплатный экземпляр издания.

4.       Организаторы и спонсоры Форума могут учредить еще несколько спецпризов, после поступления всех работ на Форум.
